A benefit with music, dinner, and presentations

Hurricane Katrina's destruction on the gulf coast caught the attention of the entire nation. The events of Summer 2005 ignited community aid, but the disastrous consequences remain.

Augustana College Department of History invites you to a benefit dinner for the victims of this summer's hurricanes. The evening will include music from Augustana's Jazz Band, a dinner in the style of New Orleans, and presentations by Brandon Hunt, Elizabeth Thrond, and Benjamin Zierke, three students from Dr. Margaret Preston's Modern European History Class. Please join us for an evening of entertainment, information, and service.

Date: Saturday, February 25, 2006 Time: 6:00 p.m.

Location: Morrison Commons Building, Augustana College

Tickets are $12.00 per person ($8.00 students) with proceeds donated to ELCA Domestic Disaster Response.
